Table Tricks in MS Word
Folks who do not use MS Word tables all the time often become frustrated because they are stymied as to how to resize one cell without changing all the other cells in their table. You know the drill -- you need a large cell for Names and a small cell for a numerical list but every time you change one cell, the rest follow suit in the other rows!
It is really a very simply process once you know how:
- Select the cell you would like to resize.
- Position your mouse on the border of that cell. Now drag your cell border either right or left until it is the desired size you want.
To be even more precise when resizing a table cell, hold down your ALT key while dragging right or left and you will now see the exact measurements displayed of all cell sizes.
