You can view the TCP/IP conversations in ASCII mode (for text-based protocols, like HTTP, SMTP, POP3 and FTP) or as hex dump (for non-text base protocols, like DNS). If you think you've been infected with malware and it's capturing your data and reporting back to a malware server, this program would be used to detect such reporting, for example.
